Carl Kruger: It's not about you, it's about him.

I was not the only citizen of the Marine Park community who was shocked at Carl Kruger's vote of "No" on the gay marriage bill. I am quite frankly sick of Kruger's antics. When the Democrats won control of the senate, and he was one of the Senator's holding up New York state. He said it was because of "lack of Latino representation". When I heard this, I looked at this picture in the New York Post and said "What did you say white boy?".

It's time someone challenges Kruger, and seriously vies for the position. Lew Fidler, who I am very supportive of, was challenged this year by a Republican, and the Republican vied for the council seat seriously. He got around 30% of the vote, which is good against Fidler. Kruger needs to be sent a message. That there are more caring liberals in Marine Park, then there are ultra-Orthodox Jewish bigots who want to turn Brooklyn into Bnei Brak, Israel. We can't let this happen.

I may be completely mistaken. When I see Kruger in the 7-11 on T and Nostrand (he's sometimes there) I might ask him.

I think that is Fidler you see at the 7-11 and I think Fidler got 80% of the vote, and his Republican opponent got about 18%.

LOL Yeah he really has some weight issues. I'm not sure about the Fidler result. All I remember was, with about 40% of the vote counted it was something like that. But even 20%, is still good for challenging an incumbent who is doing a superb job.

So you are suggesting that the Republican who ran against Fidler challenge Kruger? You have got to be kidding! This guy was excoriated by the Jewish Press and Jewish Week [I think] for running an anti-Semitic campaign. He had NO election day operation and has resigned as counsel to the community group he was affiliated with.

Try a more logical choice.

PS And he makes Fidler look thin.

The person you're talking about has already said that he's not running against Kruger, but it looks like he shares the same sentiments as AbeS:

And as far as being an anti-Semite goes, that was a load of crap perpetuated by Fidler.  The Jewish press just ran with it because it makes for good headlines.  He even works for a Jewish attorney.  This is the same person who was arrested for standing up for black teens in Manhattan Beach.  He's as far from a bigot as you can get.

I don't want HIM to run against Kruger. I want a Democrat too. I only mentioned Fidler's opponent, because he actually vied for the seat, instead of just sitting back. Anyone who challenges Kruger needs to be even more ferocious than that.
