Speaking on the steps of City Hall today, Matthieu Eugene embraced the Errol Louis plan and called for a new election in the 40th City Council district.

He read a statement to that effect, then ran away, shepherded by Patrick Gaspard, and pursued by Rafael Martinez-Alequin.

UPDATE: I may have misread that situation; another person there tells me Gaspard was just caught up in the scrum, rather than shepherding anyone.
