I have to say I'm thrilled Liz Benjamin is going to be picking up the Daily Politics and the column I wrote for a while at the Daily News.

She's really a great, hard-working reporter, and somebody who gets blogging and likes the denizens of the Internet. And while Bill and Errol filled in valiantly, a blog like that really needs a full-time keeper.

So...be nice to her!
