Take That, Press Critic

Daily News Bronx Bureau Chief Bob Kapstatter, in an email exchange that I think was inadvertently copied to people like me, responds to a gadfly as many reporters might wish to:

The Daily News missed the boat

To all the media,

Last week every major newspaper reported on the raid of the New York City Board of Elections. The New York Daily News did not report on this story. Why, because Bob Kappstatter, the Bronx Bureau chief of the Daily News is personal friends of both Joseph Savino and Dawn Sandow both who are mentioned in the criminal investigation at the Board of Elections, Frank Lombardi was also supposed to write this story, but where is it??? Hey Daily News did you know that if there is any wrongdoing at the Board of Elections that this is affecting the electoral process citywide. The public has a right to know and your newspaper failed to report on this story. Kudos to the New York Post and the New York Times!!!!! This story should be followed up till the end!!!

Kappy is not happy since the gadfly who by purchasing the Daily news every day actually pays Kappstatter salary, gets a remark as Blow me, what and asshole kappy is

Ben, I think what Kapp REALLY wanted to say is hidden behind the ellipsis.
