Everyone's favorite anonymous pork data collector has assembled yet another giant, useful Excel file, this one arranging both Senate and Assembly member items by Zip Code. That's harder, and more useful, than it sounds.

Once you start to see the ties that bind different Assembly Members you start to see who matters and who does not.
1) Being part of the formal Assembly leadership does not mean you get much pork.
2) The disparity among Democratic Assembly members compared to Republican Senators is pretty shocking. Where the dole is spread pretty evenly among Republican Senate members, some Democrats in the Assembly and the constituents get screwed. A good idea of how tentative Silver's hold is on the Assembly - he has to give millions to some and nothing to others to maintain his hold on being speaker.
