Aaron Fraser? Wrong For Brooklyn!!!

On June 29, 2009 Aaron Fraser while serving a lenghthy prison sentence for an interstate commerce check fraud scheme, had the temerity to sue a Christian book publishing company. Fraser, or shall we say Asante Kahari, who ever he is suppose to be at this time, claimed that the company published a book saying that "God answers prayers" but God did not answer his prayer and therefore he is suing because he was left in worse condition as a result thereof. If he can sue a Christian book publishing company for publishing the good Word of God, is this a man whom we can really trust? And who does he want to be now? Asante Kahari or Aaron Fraser? The Scriptures tell us according to James that "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." AARON FRASER...... WRONG FOR BROOKLYN!!! This Fall of 2009 it is our civic duty to be watchful of our democracy and to ensure that we elect credible and responsible trustworthy individuals to lead us. Aaron Fraser is just not that individual. We need people of good moral character. And for our community to elect a man who literally milked and schemed a hard working family of nearly $40,000 with an interstate check scheme this is not someone to trust. A man who claims he is one of faith who sued a christian book publishing company because God did not answer his prayer, is not someone we can entrust. Aaron Fraser would be a perilous choice for our community, our futures, our children, just simply a bad choice for Brooklyn.

Are we talking about a man who has changed his life or are we talking about the same man? Are you saying that it isn't possible for a man to change his spots, I remember such a man, his name was Malcom Little, also known as Malcom X. The tone of this letter sounds as if this is some smear campaign against someone who has weathered the storms of life, picked himself and decided to contribute back to a society he once misused. It is also ironic that the same person that posted this message is the same person that commented. I have done a little investigating myself. From my understanding, this brooklyn for Truth initiative was born out of Fear that Aaron Fraser just may be the change that Brooklyn Needs. Could this letter be the work of the very person that sought a position with Mr. Frasers' Campaign but was fired because he wanted to create a blog that would spread lies about other candidates? What is the true motive behind this post? Did you mention that he has worked to resolve landlord tenant issues in his district and in most cases out of his district? Do you mention that he has visited almost every public school in the District to ascertain their needs?  Did you mention that he has suppressed Gang violence inthe community by meeting with leaders in the Gang Community?  You might want to also mention that Mr. Fraser is working on his third Business Degree. Don't forget to mention that their is a large population that you are ostricizing by attempting to slander a man that has paid his dues to society. 1 in 3 black males have been the victim of the criminal system. They have mothers' fathers', sisters ,brothers and other close loved ones who care and support them in spite of. You are spitting in their faces. If you are going to do such a thing, show yourself. Put a name and or a face to post so that they can respond in kind.

When Aaron Fraser wrote the Birth of a Criminal did he bother to think about the consequences that this particular piece of fiction could have on the Bedford Stuyvesant community even himself? Oopps pardon me Asante Kahari wrote that. Even though it's just fiction, well part of it was until he was convicted in a court of law, however, it's this novel in particular and several others that our young people today are reading that are tatooed on their minds authored by yes Asante Kahari and Aaron Fraser. This is not an argument about whether or not Aaron Fraser changed his life around or not Mr. Stanton, this is about how believeble he is. If Aaron Fraser changed his life around then how come he has never publicly appologized to Mrs. Huggs and her family for the trouble he has put them through? If he is rational leadership that we can believe in then why has he, an adult a "changed" adult admitt his mistakes? Don't good leaders admitt there errors? And why doesn't he tell us a little more about Rhema Temple Ministries specifically the address and who is the pastor? This will be rich. Mr. Stanton you cited that Aaron Fraser is working on his third Masters degree. Really? If he is working on his third how did he and where did he get his Bachelors and in whom name is it? Asante Kahari. So in fact Aaron Fraser has not one. You also cited that 1/3 black males are victims of the criminal justice system. I hope you are not arguing that Aaron Fraser was one because he sought out Mrs. Huggs and preyed upon her family. Second can you quote your sources? Those things Aaron has been doing are not bad things, but I question his motives. It's fact that he's only doing this because he decided that he is going to run for public office. That's the only reason why he's doing those good things. If he was sincere about his turning over a new leaf he would have been volunteered at a soup kitchen, helped the homeless, donate to charity, payed restitution to Mrs. Huggs, enrolledat a seminary rather than claim you are saved after embarrassingly suing a Christian book publishing company because God didn't answer his prayer. Seriously If he's sincerely changed volunteer. Publicly appologize to Mrs. Huggs and her family and take responsiblity for what you did. Acting like it didn't happened is not leadership we can believe in. Running for public office does not suggest anything. Last but not least, something you done that really seems crazy and must be clarified, in 2006, Aaron Fraser published Fulfilling Your Destiny: Your life has meaning. It's a book according to him that follows biblical principles etc. In 2007, he sues a Christian book publishing company. Makes no sense at all if you ask me.
