KT MCFARLAND ENDORSED IN REPUBLICAN PRIMARY BY DEPARTING CANDIDATE WILLIAM BRENNER New York, NY-July 5...Kathleen Troia "KT" McFarland, a top Pentagon official in the Reagan administration who is pursuing the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, today announced that she has been endorsed by William Brenner, who ended his bid for the Republican nomination for Senate this morning. Mr. Brenner announced today that he will instead run for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 22nd Congressional District. Remaining in the Senate race are Ms. McFarland and former Yonkers mayor John Spencer. In endorsing Ms. McFarland for Senate, Mr. Brenner said: "It will take a strong woman ... to defeat Hillary Clinton, therefore I am supporting K.T.
