Let's face it.
A routine bail hearing for George Zimmerman took a surprising turn into remorse and explanation Friday when the neighborhood watch volunteer got on the witness stand and told Trayvon Martin's parents: "I am sorry for the loss of your son."
Entertainer Bill Cosby says the national uproar over the killing of teen Trayvon Martin should be over guns, not race. I ask, does Cosby have a good point?
In an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" that aired Sunday, Cosby said calling George Zimmerman a racist was pointless.
One of the few mementos that I proudly keep is a 2008 "Hillary for President" media pass.
It's bright yellow, and is from the Iowa caucuses. I remember the night well in Des Moines at her victory night celebration.
Numerically it may not officially be over... but with his sweep of Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, D.C., Mitt Romney is on a trajectory to the nomination.
Had a beautiful, great time this weekend at the Inner Circle Show. The show was a hit on, and off the stage. The packed house meant more proceeds for the dozens of charities helped by the benefit performances. Mayor Bloomberg for his part, was joined by stars Nick Jonas, Beau Bridges and other cast members of “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.” In this photo is my Aunt Inez with the Mayor.
Legendary Gabe Pressman helped teach me the business of TV News. I will always be thankful.
Also to the jam packed Inner Circle crowd last night, you really touched my heart. I didn't expect the round of applause when I walked up to the mike.
Across America, Why are so many good minded people upset?
-Police initially REFUSED to release the 9/11 tapes. Audio versions that we now know can greatly assist prosecutors, an swayed the court of public opinion throughout the world on this case.
-A dead boy is tested for drugs, not the possible suspect slurring a few words on
the 9/11 tapes.
-The public was initially told by local Police that George Zimmerman had no criminal past. Turns out that was not true.
Every American should know about a relatively unknown program run out of New York State titled Hudson Link.
Please understand this is not coming from the perspective of some bleeding heart liberal.
It's Not Game Over, but a Decisive Night for Romney in Illinois. Obama will prove to be a Different Story.
Finally a good night for Mitt Romney that will assist his narrative.
The race isn't over, but Mitt Romney's "perception problem" may be on the road to recovery.
The nagging doubt that haunted the Romney campaign for months, that he just couldn't close the deal on the nomination is finally starting to have less creditability.
The man is on a roll.
If I told you during the campaign that Governor Andrew Cuomo would have major, unprecedented first-year accomplishments, and then would set the bar high in year two, wouldn't you ask what was in my coffee? Did I have some type of head injury?
On NY1, Congressman Charles Rangel would joke all the time asking live on TV, if I was drinking that "Giuliani" water? You might ask right now, if I had some of that "Cuomo" Water? (Answer is no, and no.)
It became increasingly clear during the trial that Dharun Ravi should have taken the plea-bargin offered to him, even though he was looking at the possibility of being deported.
It almost sounds like repeat lyrics of a Top 40 song that Mitt Romney hates.
Romney has momentum -- a chance to finally beat expectations only to fall short in the end -- and never closes the deal.
If Romney had only pulled off Alabama or Mississippi, it would be a different narrative today. It would go like this: Organization matters, the Republican primary is over and Romney can start this general election battle with President Obama.
Even when Mitt Romney wins, it only opens another can of worms.
Romney grabbed easy Super Tuesday wins in his home state of Massachusetts and nearby Vermont, and put a huge score of delegates from his Virginia victory on his scorecard -- where neither Rick Santorum nor Newt Gingrich made the ballot.
