RACE CARD PLAYER

-ex. John Liu runs a race campaign and not on his record and has made comments such as "I'm made in Taiwan", "I worked in sweatshop factory", and "as stereotypes play I am good with numbers". Yet you can't make mention of the fact that locking exits is a fire hazard or that store signs aren't in English. If you do, according to Liu, then you are a racist. QUESTIONABLE SUPPORTERS

He received the endorsement of none other than the Consummmate insider Charlie Rangel, who we all know is quite the crook between undeclared taxes and taking up four rent-stablized apartments when most of the people in his community can't afford one.

He got the endorsement of good ole Jim McManus, the very same person whom Carmine DeSapio tried to bribe when he was on the Board of Estimates- and yes, you can read about that bribery case on line.

Norm Teitler bundles a whole bunch of money for him two months AFTER Liu introduces a bill to allow his tow operators to increase their fees from $70 to $185 bucks. AND this guy, along with other Liu supporters, is a TAX CHEAT- there's an IRS lien against him!!!

He's taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in improper cash contributions to his campaign from people with no listed address nor any other information except a name- that's not disputable because he prepared the document.

He's the ONLY guy who got money from Susan Chilman, that crook Norman Hsu's co-conspirator, who DIDNT give the money back. Again, just take a look at the documents he filed himself.

He's the guy who gives $10K to the Working Families Party and gets endorsed before the actual vote.

On 7/31/01- Alan Hevesi, former comptroller and convicted Defrauder endorsed John Liu for City Council. Having won an endorsement from Alan Hevesi added something extra special to his victory, didn't it? look at the crooks, including his own father, he surrounds himself with and takes money from. John Liu's father was convicted of Bank Fraud.

SUPPORTS THE CRUEL HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE INDUSTRY AND OTHER MISDEEDS.

LIU spoke at a press conference supporting the bicycle access to building bill before he started running against Yassky. He first runs for public advocate and then switches his run for comptroller. Liu is the worst kind of politician, one who would kill a bill he supported because his opponent Yassky might benefit from its passage.
