NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF ENGLISH AND BUSINESS TO HOLD 25TH ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATION, SPECIAL GRADUATION CEREMONY

The New York Institute of English and Business will celebrate the 25th
anniversary of its inception at a special graduation ceremony and
anniversary celebration on June 29th. The festivities will begin at
1:00 PM on June 29th, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times
Square.

The New York Institute of English and Business is a nationally
accredited school that offers a wide variety of training programs and
courses tailored to New York's immigrant and ethnic communities. Some
of the areas of study offered by the school are English as a Second
Language ("ESL"), accounting, math, computer applications, database
management, medical billing and web design. The school's primary
objective is to provide its students with the necessary tools to
succeed in today's workforce.

Together with its sister school in Brooklyn, the New York Institute of
English and Business presently has more than 900 students who hail
from areas throughout the world.

The keynote address will be delivered by New York City Councilman John
C. Liu of Queens, who chairs the Council's Transportation Committee
and who serves on the committees of Education, Consumer Affairs,
Contracts, Oversight & Investigations and Lower Manhattan
Redevelopment. Councilman Liu is the first Asian Pacific American to
be elected in New York City.
