WHAT: Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney (D-Queens, Manhattan) will release a report outlining the crippling losses business owners are facing as a result of the power outage in western Queens. Some businesses have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars while Con Ed is only offering $7,000 in compensation.
WHO: Congresswoman Maloney and the owners and managers of Titan Foods ($200,000+ in losses), Cold Stone Creamery (threatened with closure), Ellopia Press and other businesses TBA.
