SPEAKER QUINN, COUNCIL MEMBER VACCA VISIT BRONX PRE-K PROGRAM

City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn and Council Member James Vacca will visit PS 72 tomorrow, in order to observe several full day Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) classes.

In this year's budget, the City Council was able to achieve funding to create over 2,100 new full day UPK slots for kids throughout New York City. Thirty-six new slots have been created through this funding at PS 72, and 684 total slots have been created in the Bronx.
