PATAKI VETOES WEPRIN’S ACCESS-A-RIDE BILL

Governor George Pataki vetoed legislation sponsored by Assemblymember
Mark Weprin (D- Little Neck) that would allow seniors and disabled
persons to use the Access-A-Ride and Able-Ride bus services to reach
destinations across the Queens County and Nassau County boundaries,
within a 5 mile radius.
