Jack Davis is not a racist. He just thinks like one. The 73 year old democratic candidate is vying for New York's 26th congressional district by claiming he wants to save American jobs and get rid of illegal aliens. Okay, he didn't' say get rid of illegal aliens. He just wants them to stay very, very, far away: 

"Our southern borders are being invaded by up to 20,000 illegal aliens daily... This adds to the army of 20 million illegals already here. How many of these illegals are terrorists?" 

Are terrorist armies making their way up to Buffalo now?

And he doesn't just oppose illegals. In a speech announcing his candidacy, Davis declared, "I am anti globalization, anti free trade, anti off shoring of jobs, and anti illegal immigration." His website is footnoted with quotes and articles from Lou Dobbs, Pat Buchanan, Tom Tancredo, and Abraham Lincoln. Yes, folks, evidently Honest Abe didn't like slavery or free trade.

With Davis inching ahead of incumbent candidate Tom Reynolds in the polls, does he really have the interests of Buffalo at hand? Or is the self made businessman ensuring his company doesn't get squashed by foreign competition?

The Foley scandal and Western New York's overall economic ennui have given momentum to Davis's campaign. But voters should really take a closer look at getting to know Jack. Especially the immigrants and terrorist armies invading our borders. Davis is onto you.
