He's going to need a job. And immigration (and domestic in-migration) is how we've filled all the other skilled jobs in NYC, keeping the economy afloat despite 25 years of bad schools. (No wonder business interests never want to pay taxes locally for education but are always worried about workforce quality nationally).

To get more local pols, I suppose, they'd have to teach how state government actually works in high school. But that might just lead to even more young people moving away.
