What the MTA is For
So we have now had the usual circus of everyone showing up and yelling at the "unaccountable MTA." Why isn't there any similar circus at which people can yell at the New York State Legislature? After all, that is the group of people who sold out the future. Well, they created the MTA to take care of that for them. It's what the MTA is for, to be held accountable for what others have done and they are expected to go along with.
Isn't that why Albany is the state capitol?
Who the heck is going to travel to Albany (especially in the winter) to yell at legislators?

I agree .. :)
People are still eating. You know how this works. When the franchise system was starved by the city, buses simply stopped showing up. There will be no announcement of this when it happens. Buses will just not show up at the frequency they should. The change is threatened by the East End looking at their own Regional Transportation Authority.
