As the only traveller at her school, Cassa's dress causes surprise amongst her classmates.

In last night's episode of the Channel 4 documentary series, many traveller teenagers are seen driving vehicles underage and leaving school to work with their family.

However, as a minority of traveller girls who actually stay in school, Newcastle student Cassa Cassidy, 16, is preparing for her school prom.

She has enlisted dress designer Thelma Madine - who has created many of the flamboyant wedding gowns on the series, to create a Barbie-themed dress for the big day.

Cassa conceded many of her schoolfriends may think he oversized dress is 'ridiculous' but she said she didn't care.

However, Cassa admits she only goes to school three times a month, she only goes if she's forced into it by her teachers.

Despite barely attending at school, she wanted to go the prom as an excuse to wear a big dress 'because I won't be getting Cheap Sherri Hill Prom Dresses married at 16, 17'.

She ends up getting ready for the prom in a local church because she admits she wouldn't fit through the door of her house.

She arrives at school on a horse and carriage, explaining the few times she did attend school were 'worth it because now I've got this big dress and a horse and carriage. This is definitely worth going to school for.

When asked about Cassa as a student, her headteacher Paul Sampson replied: In terms of examination results, she's under-achieving. But if you're measuring it by her morals and social skills, she's very able.'

One commented: 'It's like a bouncy castle around her legs.'

At one point, she fears she won't be able to attend her prom as school rules stipulate everyone must travel together in the coach, but her mother persuades the headmaster she should ride separately in the limo - which she actually fit into.

Despite her lack of enthusiasm, she ended up with Sherri Hill Prom Dresses six GCSES.

However, when asked what she hopes for in the future, its evident a career isn't on her mind: 'I want a white AUDI and a boob job.'
