Hevesi's Harassed Aide Fired For "Good Cause"

On the allegations of sexual harassment by Hevesi secretary Alexander McHugh, and his subsequent firing:

Hevesi spokesman David Neustadt said McHugh "refused to cooperate" with an internal investigation of the claim, and that the office "found no evidence of sexual harassment."

"We will not be blackmailed into rehiring someone who was fired for good cause," he said.
