Okay, here's a silly one, and I hope this nitpicking does not make me like Mr. Popik, but it bugs me when I hear things like this, which I just did for least the second time in the mainstream media (including 3 minutes ago on NPR):

"Nancy Pelosi, who will be third in line for the Presidency..."

The last time I checked, Mr. Bush is not on any line to be president, that makes Ms. Pelosi second in line for the presidency.

Incidentally, I am in love with the ultra-liberal fantasy that the new Congress will impeach Bush and Cheney and then Ms. Pelosi would become president.
