An Example That Can and Should be Followed
By choosing the Reverend Rick Warren to offer the invocation during his Swearing In Ceremony as the 44th President of the United States of America, President-Elect Barack Obama has set an example that many leaders of the Democratic Party should follow. Reverend Rick Warren is the Evangelical Pastor of the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. He is also an opponent of homosexual marriage and the author of the best selling book, “A Life with a Purpose”. President-Elect Obama has been receiving ongoing complaints by leaders of the homosexual community who are furious after finding out that Reverend Warren has been selected, and are asking for Barack Obama to disinvite Reverend Warren. He won’t. This is a great example by Barack Obama, and should be taken seriously by the leaders of the Democratic Party. Obama has sent a message to the world that “Yes We Can” has a Democratic Party where everyone should be included. It has been the belief that the Democratic Party is owned exclusively by certain groups, and if you do not believe in or follow the ideology of these groups and their agendas, then you will be a registered outcast. You will never be invited to official Party activities. You will not get their support, and they call you names and do everything possible to push you out of the Democratic Party. To some people, if you oppose homosexual marriage and abortion, you are not a Democrat and you are certainly not be invited to deliver an inaugural invocation. To those people, it does not matter how hard you fight to protect human services by creating job opportunities for your community, bringing low income housing to the poor, fighting against the closing of health services, protecting the immigrants, and opposing the Governor of the State of New York and the Mayor of the City of New York for cutting needed services when they try to balance their budgets on the backs of the poor and less fortunate families and senior citizens. By rejecting the call to dis-invite Reverend Warren and by welcoming him to deliver the inauguration ceremony’s invocation in Washington, DC, Barack Obama has sent a message of inclusion … that we should be welcome all the time, not only to be used when they want our votes, support and participation in coalitions to benefit others. The time has come for a change. The Democratic Party should not be a party of only two issues : abortion and homosexual marriage. Everybody should be accepted : Orthodox Jews, Evangelical Christians, Catholics, Muslims, and those with religious beliefs that oppose abortion and homosexual marriage. YES WE CAN! Thank you, President-Elect Obama for setting the example.
When I think of how the Democratic party is beholden to Planned Parenthood, NARAL and various abortion clinic owners in addition to the radical gay lobby, I think, "no, you can't!" I think of how gays are attacking Mormons and anybody who supported Propositiono 8 and I feel ill. This is the system: when pro life bills are defeated, we don't riot and call people names. We just keep fighting. Something is not right here. . .
"Positive gay rights?" What on earth does that mean? I also believe in separation of church and state. Perhaps we should make murder legal, Flo, since "Thou shalt not murder" is in the Bible. We can't have that, now, can we, Flo dear?

WE DEMOCRATS MUST GET OUR ACT TOGETHER & SEIZE THE MOMENT! We note that dissatisfaction is mounting against us Democrats, specifically in relation to our inability to form the State Senate majority. You would have thought that we would have been understandably happy and eager to do so, after spending more than three (3) decades in the political wilderness, and push our agenda to improve education, health care, housing, the environment, jobs, wages and other quality of life issues. Indeed, the vision, unity and commitment collectively shown by the Queens Democratic County Leader Congressman Joe Crowley, Democratic State Senate Leader Malcolm Smith, Congressman Gregory Meeks, Councilman Joe Addabbo, the president of our organization, Attorney and community advocate Albert Baldeo and others, are memorialized on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5CeXVidnU0, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mZGyaI8iwI, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RZ55ecU77Y, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NGzsvlRTYM, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crn_e7ki-mQ, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kukWURo-qgY, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_vdzdpJngQ, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X18iH9HhDw, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8Rc79ihKfI In the crucial run up to the election, and at the behest of our party’s leadership, Albert put his personal ambitions and sacrifices aside in a gut wrenching decision, and united behind Councilman Addabbo to defeat the 20 year incumbent Serph Maltese, whose seat was the linchpin in us taking back the State Senate. As it turned out, term limits were extended in the City Council, Councilman Addabbo would have remained there, and Albert would have been Maltese’s replacement. Loyalty to the Democratic Party can be painful, indeed! Our recent electoral victories should have been ushering a new era in politics in New York State, a ground breaking event to bring an end to Republican control in Albany and the heralding of a new Democratic majority. Instead, we are at a frustrating impasse, and time is of the essence that we move our party forward to take over the reigns of leadership, collectively. We do not wish to point fingers, but we call upon the entire Democratic State Senate conference and party leadership to do the will of the people, respect our efforts which were supposed to take us to the Promised Land, unite and form the majority, and take our great state forward in these challenging economic times. Let us seize this moment, together!
Great example of democratic solidarity in those videos. Make it work, fellas-the State Senate Majority!
The medigap offerings or the Medicare supplement plans have been standardized by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in 1992 70-294 braindumps. Though medigap policies were also available prior to that. But the seniors possessing the plans prior to 1992 are still under non-standard plans. But these plans are no longer eligible for the new plans. It is to be mentioned that the Medigap or the Medicare supplement plans are sold by the private insurance companies and there are no government sponsorship behind them 640-460 braindumps. And for that reason the insurance policies may vary from state to state. According to the law, the companies can offer only 12 Medicare supplement insurance plans. And these plans are named from A through L and each plan provides different sets of benefits. In 2006 it has been clearly stated that the Medigap Plans H, I, and J, cannot be sold to people with prescription to drug benefits 646-230 braindumps, although there is a lax of this rule for people who already have those plans and they can keep them.

the good senator 'reverend' diaz is entitled to his opinion and and so am i.
the good 'reverend' makes me sick with his conservative pandering; and let's not forget to 'thank him' for being instrumental in removing potential positive gay rights legislation from this year's docket.
a round of applause, please, for a great 'champion' of equal rights...
btw, 'reverend' and friends: i'm as straight as you are; perhaps more so - as studies show that homophobes are often very conflicted about their own sexuality.
i somehow just happen to believe in equal rights under the SECULAR law, and complete separation of church and state.
