This posting began as a response to two friends of mine engaged in a heated discussion. I came in late to the conversation, thinking as if it was getting out of control.  

In fact...this is (was) an awesome example of how dialogue between two opposing [but not diametrically] viewpoints should ensue. I'd love to include said conversation, but that's a story for another time.

I had an epiphany today - an acquaintance nudged it out of its comfy chair tonight with a reference to the bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City.

You'll all recall that 168 people died that day; the insult to that injury is that there was a nursery in that building, and many children perished among the number of dead. Now, of course, you can't help but to get enraged when you think of those children's lives snuffed away...and this is where the scumbags' plans begin to work. At this point, with that on your mind, emotion begins to take over, and one of the things that works as a salve in imagining the imminent immolation of the perpetrators. Now, that won't work without a PERPETRATOR to blame, so one must be found.

This has been going on for quite some time, but in my case, for the last 9 years, I have had a simmering disdain for what my fellow Americans have allowed to occur. I had a migraine for the duration of the Enron affair, which ended with the news of their stock going from $80 a share to $.07 a share. Next, of course, was September 11th, 2001.

There were people jumping from the two skyscrapers.

They didn't have parachutes. I don't believe that there was a single person who opted for this method of escaping what, before 9:59 AM that morning, was unforeseeable: the collapse.

Thirty-three minutes later, something unheard of in the history of building construction occurred again.

People poured onto the site to lend a hand wherever they could. I know of two people directly upon the site; I am glad to say that they are still with us today. One is a firefighter. I used to deliver groceries with him on the weekends. He would tear up flights of steps, two at a time with two or three boxes of groceries, easy as you please.

I could barely keep up; he was nary out of breath.

His lungs aren't so great right now.

My other bud is a journalist. He brought another buddy and I physical proof from the site after his first visit; his second trip was punctuated by a sharp dismissal by the authorities that evening. He didn't stay as long, and he used a respirator.

We all know that the stories of others diverge widely and wildly from my account. Some people watched on television as their loved ones; their friends; their co-workers; the guy who always cut a fart right as you took your first sip of coffee in the morning; that lady who always gave you that promising wink whenever you passed her office; they watched as some of these people jumped to their deaths.

That's gotta get you a little bent.

This is what the scumbags are banking upon.

Someone performed this crime; someone MUST pay for it.Well, the Bush Administration gave us a perp: Tim Osman, known to the world at-large as the mythical Osama bin Laden, black sheep of the Saudi royal bin Laden family and leader of alQaeda, a curious name which translates to either "the base" or "the toilet".

Impressive, I must say. That sure put a quake in my colon. Or...was that the day-old beef?

But...I digress - the point agonizingly being made is that we are being led by the nose.

YES - we want the perpetrator to pay, and pay dearly; but you don't find your perpetrator...not without FIRST PERFORMING AN INVESTIGATION.

At the risk of sabotaging my supposedly brilliant point here, I am a huge fan of the original Law And Order series. I could and have watched marathons of that show...but we all know that investigations don't wrap themselves up in an hour - why, this show has been paused on its opening credits for almost NINE YEARS.

You can't do an investigation without EXAMINING EVIDENCE. Prudence demand that you don't move anything in a crime scene without examining it first.

Yet...this is just what occurred.

By the afternoon, after the minute concrete dust had settled; after the sun peaked its way through the odd sky; after some semblance of [dis]order had returned to New York City en masse, at 5:20 PM, the Salomon Brothers Building, also known as WTC Building 7, collapsed in 6.7 seconds.

The thing is...nearly half an hour earlier, the BBC and CNN had reported that the building had collapsed.

So...back to my brilliant point: Why did three buildings collapse on September 11th, 2001?

Now some say that there is NO "official" narrative, but I won't converse with an ostrich...not for any length of time, anyway; but it goes something like..."19 Arabs/Saudis/Middle Easterners simultaneously hijacked 4 airplanes from Logan Airport seamlessly, crashed two of them into WTC Buildings 1 and 2; sent a third into the newly-reinforced side of the Pentagon and crashed a fourth plane into a field at Shanksville, Pennsylvania during a possible passenger revolt.

The "official" narrative offers that a confluence of the impact of the two jetliners into the buildings along with the jet fuel remaining within the aircraft was the impetus of the collapse of WTC Buildings 1 and 2.

Of course, this leaves the mystery of why WTC 7 succumbed to a virtually similar collapse.

I posted a video from Dr. Niels Harrit which demonstrates that in the collapse at 9:59 AM, there are clear examples of explosions/events in the building well ahead of the collapse zone; events that cannot be explained if explosives had been ruled out.

According to both the NIST and FEMA, explosives were not sought after as a reason for the collapse of the buildings.

So...if I tell you that it is IMPOSSIBLE IN THE EXTREME [implausible might be the term I'm really shooting for here] that the impacts from the jetliners and/or the jet fuel had FUCK ALL to do with the collapses, I expect that you'll tell me, simply, to PROVE IT.

I'd be glad to...and I suspect that many would join me...except that we can't - because there hasn't been an investigation.

I am hoping that sharing out this video will be the means to begin an understanding for the need to perform said investigation.

Not to do so, my friends, would be to dishonor the memories of those we lost nearly nine years ago.
