Quick one today, dear readers - I think that our firefighters are getting a raw deal.

These guys run into buildings to rescue our loved ones when things have gone horribly awry...don't you think they deserve more than the shoddy treatment that they've received thus far? I, for one, would not relish the thought of not knowing if the place that would become my second home could be phased out with no regard whatsoever to my performance on the job.

Considering that Hizzoner spent in excess of $100 million dollars on a re-election that should not have occurred, he should have planned for this eventuality.
