If my life were a Greek myth, Howard “Gatemouth” Graubard would be Poseidon; David “mole333” would be  a conglomeration of Scylla and Charybdis; and I would be playing the part of Odysseus/Ulysses, trying to make it home to my family. Of course, I can’t take sole credit for evading their barbs; I’ve Athena on my side.

Now, not to beat an old horse, but there, not long ago, was a piece penned that appeared to peg me as a “holocaust denier”, or some such stupidity.

Let’s see my initial rebuttal:

This is a very interesting subject, and I can see this getting out of control quickly.

What I indicated in my response to Timmy, is that there exists NO PROOF of WORKING GAS CHAMBERS.

NONE.

The chambers that are in evidence would have killed the guards as well and any one else near them.

Now, I don't confess to ever having gone to Auschwitz and seeing them for myself, but there is a matter of a fellow named David Cole having done that trip, and getting the curator to admit that the chambers were constructed after World War 2.

David Cole has recanted his views...but there may have been mitigating circumstances, such as the health of his mother at the time.

There's also the matter of Prussian blue, a by-product of Zyklon-B usage.

The chambers have no residue that would indicate the extensive usage of Zyklon-B; in fact, no measurable residue exists.

I actually have read extensively into this, and this is my impression: we have been gulled into believing a fiction because of the emotional baggage included.

I wrote in a couple of comments, this line: "Truth needs no defense".

I want you to be sure of this: I do NOT have any hatred or disdain for Jews (I can't believe I actually have to write such a trite line). Many of my best friends from high school were Jews. I still maintain relationships with them now, as we speak. It's disgusting to me to have to defend myself from such a scurrilous charge.

The emotional aspect is much the same that I feel has hampered and real justice being sought in the events of September 11th.

Remember Van Romero from NM Tech? He stated that the destruction of the buildings looked like "controlled demolition"; yet ten days later, he comes out and gives a wishy-washy recantment of that analysis. Of course, who's paying the bills?

The molten steel that lasted for WEEKS is simply ignored...but the presence of said molten steel absolutely destroys the official story.

The "dancing Arabs" film was a hoax - this has been proven...but I'll bet you never saw the dancing NON-Arab film. I don't think I need to spell this out. See...but I'm not reading the "facts on the ground", right?

I'm going to stop with this...in the Carl Cameron report of the Israeli Spy Ring (it's a DEA report, and I'll gladly get you a link to it, if you like - like this: http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2002/05/07/students/) mentions this one this that people seem to gloss over, but it's a very important line to understand:

"There is no indication that the Israelis were involved in the 9-11 attacks, but investigators suspect that they Israelis may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance, and not shared it. A highly placed investigator said there are "tie-ins." But when asked for details, he flatly refused to describe them, saying, "evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information." __Now, let's parse that out a bit...the beginning is the obfuscation, followed by what's called the "limited hangout". So, to re-write that paragraph..."We can't prove that Israel knew in advance, but there is indication that they DID know and never flat-out told us. But if we try to make that determination, we simply don't have the clearance to read that report."

And let's be clear - that limited hangout at the end of the paragraph INDICATES ISRAELI INVOLVEMENT IN 9/11 - it's just that the information is CLASSIFIED. You and I just don't have access to it.

The piece I did on John O'Neill indicates that he had to be involved with the setting up of the building; otherwise, he would have been the guy to foil the carefully-laid plans. I was of the mistaken impression, until finding James Weisbecker's article, that O'Neill began working security by the morning of September 11th, rather than the actual start date of August 23. That coincides with the odd power-downs, the removal of the bomb-sniffing dogs and the unusual fire drills that took place before September 11th.

Here's the thing - it's the emotional aspect that has kept the research of September 11th relegated to stupid fringe issues.

WTC 7 alone is enough to hang Jerome Hauer and Larry Silverstein...if we simply made him explain the "pull it" line without allowing for bullshit answers.

I'd loved to have this explained...why was the first thing that the FBI did, after the attack on the Pentagon, was to confiscate 80-plus videotapes that were aimed roughly at the Pentagon? Then we have released to the public at large, 5 frames with an incorrect timestamp?

But let's get back to the Holocaust. If I were to get into a discussion on whether the Holocaust happened, I would have to say that it did, because so many others believe it did, and as there was an action primarily taken against the Jewish population of Germany, it is a historical event...but if you were to ask whether I believe in the gas chamber aspect, i would have to disagree. There are other aspects that are questionable, but we'll leave it at that.

I was hesitant to get sucked into this...but then, I remembered this quote:

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

I know what's coming, but I'm not afraid to face it. We need to get past the emotional aspects and allow the cards to be dealt.

This is what I'm going to do - I'm going to steer this conversation back to where the true focus should lie...why are 81 of our PAID REPRESENTATIVES screwing around and allowing themselves to be bribed/paid-off/used by a PAC that purports to be a domestic charter, yet puts the interests of a foreign nation over our own?

You and Gatemouth continue to attempt to HIDE THE FACT THAT ISRAEL HAS AN ARRANGEMENT WITH OUR GOVERNMENT THAT DOES NOT MATCH IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, THE ARRANGEMENT THAT OTHER FOREIGN NATIONS HAVE WITH THE UNITED STATES?
