In my junk folder was mail I thought said "Make Your Pension Grow," and I eagerly opened it, but it turned out I'd misread.

You know you are getting old when your pension excites you more than your penis.

No, I don't buy most of it, but it is worth considering, especially given the conservative source.

Another week in Albany without a budget - but naturally more borrowing and more taxes from the Democrats. While Andrew Cuomo and Albany Democrats continue to defend the indefensible, our Republican candidates spent the week speaking directly to the needs of New Yorkers. Rick Lazio highlighted how New York City Democrats are providing tax credits to Hollywood, while doing nothing to resurrect our upstate economy. Harry Wilson exposed Tom DiNapoli's fuzzy math with respect to our pension system and offered his own solutions to ensuring a solvent system while protecting the taxpayer. Our state legislators continued to fight for real budget cuts that would help close the deficit and rein-in spending. It's been a busy week for the Republican cause.
