If Chuck Reichenthal were a puppet of Councilman Recchia, then someone had better define the term.  They are in complete disagreement over the Coney Island plan, and Chuck is an obvious enemy of Joe Sitt and his crew.  The Councilman staged a tirade, in front of a lot of people, against Chuck after Recchia and Kruger had disrupted a scoping meeting, for the public, on the Coney plan.  Today, it is my knowledge that the Councilman does not even talk to Chuck though they had been friends.  But, although they often agreed on issues and enjoyed each other's company, such an arrangement never stopped from disagreements... and now they seemingly do not talk much.  Chuck has little to fear - he is admired more by the community than the Councilmember.
