The DNC's 50 state strategy isn't supposed to have immediate benefits, but there are seats in Nebraska and Idaho that have become competitive (but still long shots). Democracy for America, the off shoot organization from Dean's presidential campaign, has done everything it can to recruit candidates to run for every level of government and have already have wins to claim (Mayor of Salt Lake County in Utah and an open Lesbian becoming Sheriff of Houston). There is going to be a larger than 15 seat flip in the house because there are more seats being competently challenged than DCCC is targeting. It probably will not be as large as the '94 midterms but it will be the largest class of freshman since '94.
