Jerry Skurnick did not state that the WFP in Manhattan did terrbly in actual working-class districts, like Harlem, east and west (2-3% of the vote). They also fared equally poorly on the UES, where there are few laborers.

Indeed, WFP did well in the liberal, educated areas, which like the UES, have few laborers.

So, here we have presumably sophisticated and educated Democrats disenfranchishing themselves to benefit this non-party and its small cadre of perpetual leaders.

Fewer Dem votes in these liberal ADs compared to other ADs that vote soldily Dem means fewer County Committe members, and, formerly, fewer Judicial Delegates, and a general loss of influence, power and enfranchisement.

To what end? To help Bertha Lewis foist the Atlantic Yards?

Furthermore, it is a disgrace that Democrats like Spitzer and Jerry Nadler phoned voters before the General, urging them to vote for another Party.
