DC- Colin Schmitt, New York resident, and student at the Catholic
University of America in Washington, DC was recently elected to the
position of Press Relations Chair in the Catholic University Chapter of
the College Republicans. A rising sophomore at CUA Colin has been
involved in the College Republican Chapter since coming to CUA in the
fall of his freshman year.
Newly elected Chairman Alexandra C. Smith says regarding Colin “It
is great to have him on my team. As everyone knows Colin is a dedicated
Republican and community leader. His past media and political
experience make him more than qualified to assist our organization. I
am happy that he is able to lend his time and knowledge to promote our
core Republican values on campus.”
Colin now has responsibility for national media outreach and the
implementation of the new technologies to advance to goals of the CRs. The
Catholic University College Republicans hold the distinction of being
one of the most active and regarded College Republican Organizations in

of the most prestigious and active CR chapters in the entire United
States of America. The CUA CR's consistently place among the nation's
