ASSEMBLYMAN HAKEEM JEFFRIES RETURNS WITH SUMMER AT THE SUBWAY
EVENING OFFICE HOURS

For fourth consecutive year, Assemblyman
Jeffries brings office to the streets

Brooklyn, NY
– Designed to bring his office to the
location where many community members find themselves at some point when
returning home from work, for the fourth straight year
Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries will host his “Summer at the Subway”
evening office hours throughout the 57th District.

Beginning Wednesday, July 7, Assemblyman Jeffries and his
staff will be in and around the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Prospect
Heights and parts of Crown Heights
and Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhoods of the district at subway stops at major
thoroughfares. Neighborhood issues like affordable housing, employment, rising
rental costs, crime, and the city’s public school system are just a few
of the subjects addressed on site.

“Evening office hours give me the opportunity to
assist residents who otherwise might not be able to stop by the office during
the weekday,” said Jeffries. “It also allows me to stay engaged
with the issues that are impacting the community.”
