NADLER AND BREWER PERSUADE AT&T TO DELAY
CELL TOWER INSTALLATION & MEET WITH COMMUNITY

UPPER
WEST SIDE, July 11,
2008 – Councilmember Gale A. Brewer and Congressman Jerrold Nadler have
persuaded AT&T to delay installation of cell antennas (12) on the roof of
585 West End Avenue, Manhattan, NY. The installation was originally scheduled
for Saturday, July 12th, and residents were given very little
notification.

Instead of installing the
12 antennas this weekend, AT&T has agreed to meet with the community this coming
week. Time and place details to follow.
