It has published 40 books dealing with various aspects of the land and language for the benefit of the public. Among the 11 universities in the state that have received Rs 2-crore grants each, the KSOU is the first to publish books.

ASQ President Testifies Before Congress in Support of Baldrige

ASQ said its President E. David Spong testified before Congress in support of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. President Obama proposes to continue the Program in FY 2012, but the Program is targeted for a significant decrease in funding. In a release on March 14, ASQ said that Spong's appearance is the result of ASQ's Washington, D.C., advocacy efforts. The Program faces a decrease to a level of $7.7 million. The Program currently is funded at $9.6 million annually based on the enacted FY 2010 budget.
