Iannece Untruthful About Endorsements

On Friday, September 4th, the campaign of Tom Cooke for NYC Council came across mailers from rival candidate Jerry Iannece which falsely claim key endorsements. The mailers (copy attached) show Iannece ''proudly endorsed by Chrissy Voskerichian, President of the 109th Precinct Council, and, Rhea O'Gorman, President of the Station Road Civic Association.” This surprised our campaign as the aforementioned women made it clear to all candidates that they and their organizations were nonpartisan, apolitical, and concerned solely with the best interests of the community.

KING BLOOMBERG AND DEPUTY MAYOR QUINN BAIL OUT DEVELOPERS

Deputy Mayor Slush Fund Queen Christine C. Quinn and king Michael R. Bloomberg today announced a $20 million commitment to fund a pilot program that will turn unsold condominiums, market-rate rental buildings and stalled construction sites into affordable housing opportunities for moderate and middle-income families.

First, that the city will overpay for the condos, making this into a developer bailout program.

And second, that too much scarce affordable housing funding will be diverted from the low-income people who need assistance most to higher-income people who can afford the subisidized condos.

CM David Weprin is a LIAR or an IDIOT, YOU DECIDE!

Per this video below again David Weprin states this bill intro 653 that he is sponsoring will increase protection for the carriage horses but it will  decrease. Most of the groups, ASPCA, HSUS, NYC Bar, Humane League of Voters, etc has testified that this bill will decrease oversight and basically is a death warrant for these horse.

I think the Lobbyist Walter L McCaffrey is still supporting this cruel Industry and even played the race card by suggested people are biased against the Irish. Many Irish are against this industry.
