The mayor is going through major third term blues. Can you say Cathie Black. Now Black is only making matters worse as she didn’t just go away quietly. On the way out as School Chancellor, Black, after just 96 days on the job, raised the sexism card.

Trust me, these guys are going to kill each other, as AM 970 THE APPLE launches “Sliwa VS. Borrero.”

The radio station announced Monday morning that Sliwa and Borrero will co-host a new afternoon show starting tomorrow,from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The first time I encountered Curtis Sliwa the founder of the Guardian Angels was at a Rudy Giuliani political event and all the star gazed Young Republicans from New York and around the country were blindly brushing passed the outstretched hands of local Republican leaders as they headed to shake Sliwa’s hand.

Curtis Sliwa for Public Advocate?

The NY Post has an Editorial supporting Curtis Sliwa who has been talking about running for Public Advocate as an Independent on a platform of eliminating the do nothing office which will cost $1.8 million this year (which is down from the $2.9 million the office has cost last year).

I like this quote from Sliwa "If elected I would close and padlock the office, fire all the employees and, most importantly, fire myself."

It's about time someone made the case for getting rid of this useless post that's costing NYC taxpayers millions of dollars every year!

I hate to say it but this might be the one job that Sliwa is actually qualified for! As long as he really intends to follow through on his promise to eliminate the office he's got my vote!
