President Obama

No more Washington talk. A nation mourns... Demands Assault Weapons Ban

On Wednesday we did a segment on Richard French Live titled ‘Guns in America: Does America have a Problem?’ Tragically, neither any of the guests, nor myself realized just how timely the segment would be.

Come on Folks, Who Really Politicized Bin Laden's Death?

I have to confess I was a little uncomfortable with the ad from team Obama on Bin Laden, from the perspective of these types of attacks (Mitt Romney might not have made the same decision to send Navy SEALs into Pakistan) are best left historically to surrogates. Like the President did do with Vice President Joe Biden, "Bin Laden is dead, General Motors is alive," and former President Bill Clinton from the actual commercial.

What Is the Real Reason the Presidential Race Is Already So Tight?

The general election campaign is underway and the president could be in for the fight of his life. As expected, Mitt Romney won all five GOP primaries Tuesday, and his remarks sure sounded like an energetic nomination speech.

"A better America begins tonight," Romney told supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Dare I say it? Could it be? Romney sounded presidential.

It's Time to Grow Up

I'm gonna say this as plain as I can. High Fructose Corn Syrup almost did me in.

There's no reason whatsoever, except for PROFITS, as to why our sodas and soft drinks are sweetened by HFCS.

As to those of you drinking the "diet" versions of those sodas and soft drinks; I hope you all reconsider your choice, before you find out that only the first three letters apply to your ingestion of a known carcinogen and a neurotoxin.

Today's Special Election: Weprin/Turner and Obama

Forget that ultimately the seat may be gone thanks to redistricting---the battle for ex-Rep. Anthony Weiner's House seat has come down to today and is a real referendum on President Obama.

Shockingly, polling suggests that in this heavily democratic Queens/Brooklyn district, it’s better to be the Republican, one time unknown challenger, Bob Turner today rather than Democrat David Weprin.

Will it be Obama against Texas Governor Rick Perry?

MOST OF US HAVE HEARD THAT THE REPUBLICAN contest for President consists of a lackluster field of good-but-unelectable candidates.

With their attacks on Obama, Cornell West and Tavis Smiley need to go somewhere and sit down!!!

With this one, I have seen it all now.

Famed Princeton University professor Cornell West and Broadcaster Tavis Smiley need to be seriously ashamed of themselves.

They have completed a week-long, 14-city “Poverty Tour” which highlighted the plight of America’s poor and directly critiqued President Obama for failing to stand up for them.

A Deal in Washington, but political drama is just beginning

This is a very important short term solution, but the political argument over the federal debt is far from over.

For one thing, Congress as a whole must still vote to approve the agreement -- and for another, the deal creates a new congressional committee to tackle the age-old debate over federal debt and spending.

Could Debt Ceiling battle cost Obama his re-election?

President Obama finds himself between a “rock and a hard place.” A major dilemma with the situation offering at least two possibilities, none of which may be politically acceptable.

In a radio address broadcast Saturday, Obama called for a bipartisan deal to increase the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling, while cutting federal spending in the years ahead.

Is Obama in trouble

The good news for President Obama, or any sitting president, the power of incumbency is very tough to win against, and Republicans are having a tough time with their field of candidates.

However the bad news: the worst kept secret is Obama’s base is not energized (he will need each and every single vote) and consider the horrible jobs report Friday which shows history is not on Mr. Obama’s side.

TV Journalist Bob Schieffer: Trump Guilty of Racism. Is Schieffer correct? or does Trump have a point

File this under you wouldn't believe it, unless you could see the video tape.
Legendary Host of "Face the Nation," Bob Schieffer is accusing Donald Trump of Racism.

Don’t automatically assume Donald Trump is not running. Does "Birther" have traction

A television interview I did three years ago with the potential GOP presidential contender resurfaced this weekend on Fox News, Drudge, and all over the Internet. In it, Trump had harsh words for outgoing President George W.
