I was listening to the Caldwell Chronicle last week (show hours are now 4:00 - 6:00 PM, still on Friday afternoon), when I heard the news about outgoing New York State Governor David Paterson's latest actions.
Congratulations to outgoing Governor David Paterson - his law ensuring that working people will be guaranteed their pay is a step in the right direction. I was appalled when I heard that there was opposition from some, stating that this measure would impede their ability "to do business".
Monkey business, maybe?
If one performs a job function, one should be compensated. Sounds cut-and-dried to me.
Gov David Paterson said something very interesting the other day.
Paterson declared he did not want the job of newly-censured Harlem Democrat Charles Rangel in Congress, but went on to add that Mayor Michael Bloomberg is eyeing President Obama’s job.
