Albert BaldeoAlbert Baldeo fights for jobs, revenue via Aqueduct and helps HaitiansCommunity Advocate and attorney Albert Baldeo was published in the January 26th Daily News fighting for the state and local economies to benefit from the Aqueduct revitalization plans. He warns that "we are throwing away $1 million dollars a day in lost revenues for New York State," and is demanding that the Governor make a decision now to stop "suspending payments to hospitals and schools, closing hospitals, raising taxes and cutting services." He is also advocating for the new jobs and economic benefits the deal will bring for working families who live in the Aqueduct area, but warned that workers must be protected by labor laws. His Op-Ed advocacy piece is reproduced below. Albert is also rendering free legal and humanitarian assistance to Haitians who need help after that terrible earthquake destroyed their lives at his Law Offices located at 106-11 Liberty Avenue, Ozone Park in Queens, blocks away from the Aqueduct facility: Tel (718) 529-2300 for appointments.

Albert Baldeo calls on Albany to lower unconscionable MTA fare increasesAlbert Baldeo calls on State Representatives to lower unconscionable MTA fare increasesDespite our protests, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority recently voted to enact a series of fare hikes and service cutbacks, presumably to keep the transit system from going broke. MTA Board members artfully called the combination of fare increases and slashing bus, subway and commuter rail cuts a disaster but said they could no longer wait for lawmakers in Albany to rescue them. The votes, painfully taken in three parts, approved fare hikes, toll increases and service cutbacks, despite spirited opposition. Every block in New York City will feel the squeeze!
WE SHOULD KEEP OUR ENVIRONMENT CLEAN-AND PICK UP AFTER OUR PETS!Albert Baldeo, "a Hope and Change Leader reflective of the new leadership President Barack Obama has inspired," calls for more caring communities: WE SHOULD KEEP OUR ENVIRONMENT CLEAN-AND PICK UP AFTER OUR PETS! Spring is supposed to be one of the best times of the year, but some bothersome quality of life issues remain prevalently troubling. The solutions to some of these issues lie, not in stimulus funding or cumbersome legislative procedures, but in the attitudinal adaptations of our fellow neighbors. We must help each other out, and set the example. Each of us must get proactive in making our environment cleaner and safer, and implement the Golden Rule, “"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Albert Baldeo challenges DEP: "Go after water thieves and reduce 14% rate increase"Albert Baldeo, a Hope and Change leader: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFozxbsL_5M, writes: This week, I received some important information I want to share with my fellow tax payers and DEP officials. My hope is that it will mitigate water theft, reduce the proposed 14% water rate hike, and assist everyone who is finding it difficult to make ends meet in these troubling economic times. The many steep increases in the cost of living in every conceivable area continue to unfairly burden working families. We must expose and curb waste, theft and mismanagement wherever they occur, if we are to recover from the present economic malaise.
