Malcolm Smith

Are We Tired Of Self-Serving Scumbags Yet?

Well...are we, New York City?

New York State?

The entire United States?

I would tend to think so.

I glanced at the cover of Metro this morning.

NY Metro 04-09-13

Ouch.

Chris - this is what happens when you suborn the will of the voters; more than that, you VOTE AGAINST SICK DAYS?!?

What's that crap all about?

This Is NOT The HFCS You're Looking For

It's the old bait-and-switch.

High fructose corn syrup is NOT sugar, no matter how many times you idiots attempt to conflate the two.

Dr. James Rippe perpetrates this fraud (and I'm not calling Dr. Rippe a fraudster, but he is allowing for this confusion to continue) by dint of this piece:

With Kruger facing corruption charges, the "Gang of Four" is down to one, and Malcolm Smith is still standing

Carl Kruger, Pedro Espada, Hiram Monserrate, and Ruben Diaz Sr. The so-called gang of four.

Make a stand, Malcolm

Today’s Daily News editorial: “Make a stand, Malcolm” shows the desire and desperation of this City’s editorial boards to be the ones that run, control and shape the political factors in this State without even being elected to do so.

THE ROAD TO THE STATE SENATE MAJORITY

KUDOS TO MALCOLM SMITH, JOE CROWLEY, JOE ADDABBO & ALBERT BALDEO FOR THEIR VISION & COMMITMENT

The vision, unity and commitment collectively shown by the Queens Democratic County Leader Congressman Joe Crowley, Democratic State Senate Leader Malcolm Smith, Congressman Gregory Meeks, State Senator Joe Addabbo, Attorney and community advocate Albert Baldeo and others, are memorialized on You Tube:

ILLUMINATING SHADY STEWART-COUSINS REPORTS

On May 20, 2008, the news media began issuing reports about 3 “targeted attacks” at the office of State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, located in Yonkers, NY. While it seemed that the facts changed on an hourly basis, there were reports that the Senator’s office had been ransacked and that bullets were fired into the office during daytime hours, evoking the image of staffers ducking under their desks for cover.

Inferences were made that there may be a connection between these alleged attacks and ‘anti-abortion’ demonstrators who held rallies outside Stewart-Cousins’ office in protest of the Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection Act (RHAPP). Local News 12 ran footage from a recent rally at the end of their report exhibiting a truly grandiose lapse in editorial judgment. Rally sponsors, who have an established history of peaceful pro-life activity, were not contacted for comment before reports aired and appeared in print.

SOS! MALCOLM SMITH, DOUG FORAND & THE DSSC ARE BLOWING OUR CHANCES TO TAKE OVER THE STATE SENATE!

I am very disappointed and angry with DSSC's leadership in our attempt to flip the State Senate:
Jimmy Dahroug and Albert Baldeo, with 42% and 49% respectively in the last State senate races, have earned the right to have DSSC's support. That's where polls are not needed. They got actual votes-the best indication of a candidate's strength. Tried and tested. Just a few points more needed. Easy investment for the savvy. Logical and predictable.
The reality? Neither is getting any significant party or institutional support. What a shame! Dahroug and Baldeo are being screwed over by people who don't know what they are doing. The DSSC have themselves to blame for not supporting these two guys, and are going to make the same mistakes they made in 2006. How many blunders Doug Forand is allowed to make? My heart bleeds for both Dahroug and Baldeo. The racist neo-Republican Joe Addabbo, (a close friend of Maltese), who is only running to keep Baldeo out, has been planted to divide the democratic vote! Where is the Democratic leadership and elders on this mess? Do we really want to flip the State Senate? What a low down rotten shame!

DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE ALBERT BALDEO TO PETITION FOR & SEEK ADDITIONAL 3RD PARTY LINES IN 08 GENERAL ELECTIONS

The Baldeo for Senate Committee is pleased to announce that at a meeting of members and supporters held on Friday, November 2, 2007, the decision was made to file a third party nominating petition in addition to the Democratic Party designating petition on behalf of Albert Baldeo for the 15th State Senate district in 2008. Additionally, the Baldeo campaign has been encouraged by, and will continue to seek the nomination of the Working Families Party, the Independence Party and other third party lines for the General Election.
